Melbourne University Cricket Club (MUCC) players are known as MUCCers and have a proud tradition of enjoying a vibrant cricket and social life.

Traditional Social Events held during the cricket season are:

• New Players Night - October
• Fancy Dress Symposium - November
• Cocktail Night - February
• Lawn Bowls Day - March
• Scholar's Cross (Player of The Season across the whole club) - April
• The institution which is known as Saturday Nights at "The Pavvy"

Another Tradition at MUCC which is unique is the annual Inter Varsity (or IV as it is known) which features a team from MUCC travelling to either, Sydney University, Adelaide University or University of W.A and playing a 3 day tour match.
